Weekly Invention by InventionHome.com – “Protect-A-Pet”

InventionHome announces their Invention of the Week – “Protect-A-Pet”. Independent inventor Charles Ayscue enlisted the help of InventionHome to assist him in finding marketing/licensing opportunities for his patented invention, "Protect-A-Pet".

Do you enjoy walking your pet in the evening, but due to lack of lighting you fear for the safety of your four-legged companion?

Independent inventor, Charles Ayscue saw this as a problem, and he decided that he could fix it, so he began his work on the “Protect-A-Pet”!

The Protect-A-Pet product may be comprised of two main components: the collar worn by the animal on which there may be several rows of LED lights, and a handheld remote unit that would control these lights. The lights on the collar can be set to blink, flash and other various pulsations. A battery may be located on the clip of the collar, as well as in the remote, in order to activate the lights as desired. The owner can then adjust the lighting pattern via the remote. The collar may also have a light sensor operated circuit so it may automatically be activated when ambient light falls below a certain, predetermined level. Another option for users may include a motion detector circuit in the collar so the lights may be activated when the animal moves. The adjustable collar may be produced in a variety of colors, patterns and designs to accommodate user preferences.
